Who can see my photos?
Only the people you invite. Every album is private by default — there's no public feed, no ads, and no algorithm deciding who sees what. You control, per album, who can view, add photos, or invite others.
What does the Free plan include?
Everything. The Free plan has the same features as every paid plan — unlimited albums, unlimited contributors, and original 4K quality. The only difference between plans is how much storage you get, and you can upgrade whenever you need more space.
Does Loomdy compress my photos and videos?
No. On every plan your files are stored in their original quality — photos exactly as you took them, and video up to 4K. What you download later is what you uploaded.
Is it easy enough for grandparents?
Yes — that's the whole point. Joining an album takes one tap on a private link or a quick QR code scan, with no technical steps. Loomdy is designed to be just as simple for grandparents as for tech-savvy teens.
Can I get my photos out of Loomdy?
Always. You can download your original files or export everything, anytime. No lock-in, no hidden copies — your memories are yours.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Your memories stay. You move to the Free plan, your albums keep working, and you can still export everything you've uploaded. If your collection exceeds the Free storage, you won't be able to add new files until you free up space or upgrade again — but you never lose what you already saved.
Which devices does Loomdy work on?
Loomdy has apps for iOS and Android, and you can also open your albums from any browser with the web app. Your whole family can join, whatever phone they use.
